Situated in South Florida, the Lakewood Art Studio was designed by KZ Architecture, as a home with attached artist studio for the mother, who is a painter. A series of outdoor spaces are tied together around a central pool area, with a clean, modern design throughout the house’s exterior and interior. A crisp white facade is littered with expansive windows for optimal natural light indoors, with sliding doors allowing for the seamless merging of exterior and interior space. The 800-square-foot studio sits at the residence’s Northern edge, seeming to float above the rest of the house thanks to a floor plate that elevates it.
