The prototype for Lamborghini‘s Countach premiered in 1971 and it wasn’t until 1978 that the first modifications to the Countach were made, manifesting as the LP400S. The newer version boasted broader wheel housings to cover the new, much wider Pirelli P7 tires equipped to the front and rear. Also available for the first time was a rear wing option, providing increased downward force for higher driving speeds. Pictured above is an unrestored 1979 LP400S Countach, and although the fearsome silhouette bears a slight patina, some collectors will prefer the original condition.For those interested in browsing the full listing, click here.
